About the Madhatters Disco

ROB                 SIMON

Madhatters Disco Consists of Simon and Rob below is a little bit about how they become who they are today...

Simon did his first disco in 1983, on a set of decks he made for his Duke of Edinburgh award. There was no CD’s then just vinyl, the equipment used now is far easier to cue up and the sound quality is greatly improved.

After traveling around doing discos for many people Simon came up with the name ‘Madhatter’ which has stuck for all these years.

Simon and Robert started working together in 1990, as mime artists traveling up and down the country performing on stages and places such as: Wembley arena, Blackpool, Northern Island, Scotland and most famously the London palladium. Simon carried on doing discos in between miming. They have grown to be the best of friends and are both as mad as each other, hence the name change to ‘Madhatters’ when Robert joined Simon at the decks in 2000.

They continue to entertain and make many people laugh and give people parties they will always remember. They have a full range of music to cover all ages from the Cheeky Girls to Joe Loss and his orchestra. They do christening to weddings to birthdays; in fact they have done discos for almost every occasion you can think of. They love their work and it really shows when ever you see them behind the CD decks spinning the songs you want
